As a classically-trained composer, I turned my focus to scoring following a move to Los Angeles during the COVID pandemic.
I believe music is a narrative tool, a storyteller, a way to evoke emotions and worlds in ways words and images can’t. Film is not just a visual medium—it's a story told through sound.
I don't make one-size-fits-all, cookie-cutter genre music. I write to the film's narrative, style, and tone, crafting a structure and sound that fit like a suit yet can be easily altered when needed.
Efficiency, flexibility, and a deep respect for the director's vision are integral to my work. The scoring process has to be highly collaborative and dynamic—even when operating under tight deadlines.
